Biotechnology and Biomedical Technology

Why study for a Master in Biotechnology and Biomedical technology? 

The existence of an interdisciplinary interface between medicine, the study of biological systems, and engineering mobilize engineers, physicians, and scientists to develop new technologies that impact health and production processes and increase life expectancy.

This Master’s allows professionals to receive training in complementary topics essential for advanced professional practice. It has two orientations: one in Technology Development in Biosciences and the other in Applied Biosciences and Biomedicine.

This specialization is intended for:

Engineers from all areas interested in building an interdisciplinary bridge with the areas of Life Sciences and Medical Sciences.

Physicians, Biochemists, Pharmacists, and health professionals or related careers. 

Biotechnologists, Bioengineers, and Biologists interested in updating their knowledge and developing technology-based tools.

Modality: In-person

Duration: 2 years

Bioingeniera graduada en la Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos. Cuenta con un Doctorado en Bioingeniería, de la Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche de España. Como investigadora adjunta de CONICET, lideró numerosos proyectos de investigación en el área de la cardiología, con el objetivo de brindar soluciones a las terapias de estimulación eléctrica del corazón. Asimismo, realizó su estancia postdoctoral en la Facultad de Ingeniería de la UBA.

Rodrigo Ramele es Ingeniero en Informática de la Universidad Nacional de La Matanza, con un posgrado en Criptografía en el Instituto de Enseñanza Superior del Ejército Argentino, un Posgrado en Investigación en Robótica y Bioingeniería en la Universidad de Tohoku en Sendai, Japón, y es Doctor en Ingeniería en Informática del Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.
