Who is this program for?

Engineers in Mechanical or related fields, with good academic backgrounds and solid English level, interested in consolidating technical concepts to address new technologies related to electricity generation, transport and distribution, renewable natural resources, emissions reduction and energy regulations and economy.
Modality: In-person
Duration: 3 semesters.
Class attendance schedule: Classes are taught in Spanish, from Monday to Friday

Binational Program for the Strengthening of Argentine-German Interuniversity Networks
The Master´s Degree in Energy and Environment is part of the Binational Program for Strengthening Argentine - German Inter-University Networks. It is jointly offered by the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), with a dual degree: ITBA awards the title of "Master in Energy and Environment" and KIT awards the title of "MSc in Mechanical Engineering".

Admissions and requirements
At KIT
If you have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at KIT, you have to apply through KIT/ITES for admission to the ITBA–KIT Dual Master’s Program.
At ITBA
If you hold an engineering degree from any university, you have to apply directly to ITBA for admission to the ITBA–KIT Dual Master’s Program.
Preguntas frecuentes
¿Es obligatorio contar con título de grado para cursar una Maestría o Especialización?
Sí. Para postularte a una Maestría o Especialización del ITBA necesitás contar con título de grado (mínimo 4 años). En el caso de títulos emitidos en el exterior, deben estar apostillados por La Haya. De manera excepcional, se pueden admitir tecnicaturas o carreras de grado incompletas bajo el Art. 39 bis.

¿Cómo es el proceso de admisión?
El proceso incluye la postulación online, la presentación de documentación académica y profesional, una entrevista con la dirección del programa y la evaluación final del comité académico. Todo el circuito es simple y personalizado.
El proceso de admisión se inicia enviando el CV actualizado (y en español) a la casilla: postgrado@itba.edu.ar y luego requiere completar el formulario sobre el programa al cual se aplica.
La Secretaría de Admisión del ITBA analiza los antecedentes académicos y profesionales del aspirante, y es la que tiene la potestad para admitirlos o no.
En caso de ser admitido/a, se abona la matrícula como reserva de vacante.
