It also helps anticipate potential construction problems such as expansive soils, ground erosion, landslides, water tables, or liquefaction.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the information obtained about the soil characteristics helps determine the most appropriate machinery for the construction work, as it reveals the materials to be excavated. It is based on the conclusions of these studies that the type of foundation best suited for the projected building is defined.<\/p>\n
