What drives us to envision and build the ITBA Campus?
We are driven by a profound conviction: education transforms realities when it is built collectively within a community.
The ITBA Campus stems from a commitment to future generations of professionals, researchers, and technological leaders, as well as from a respect for those who currently teach, research, learn, and support this project.
We believe in an education that integrates knowledge, innovation, and purpose. This campus will serve as an environment where talent is enhanced, ideas intersect, and academic excellence is practiced daily, bearing the distinct ITBA hallmark and its contribution to the development of both the nation and the world.
Why is ITBA taking this step today?
Because significant transformations require spaces that support and align with them.
The new ITBA Campus will consolidate the university’s academic, scientific, and community life into a single location, fostering engagement, collaboration, and interdisciplinary work.
To conceive this building is to envision the ITBA of the next 50 years. It represents a concrete response to a rapidly changing world, where education must be flexible, connected, and open. This project integrates the perspectives and expertise of faculty, researchers, students, alumni, and staff, projecting them toward a university fully prepared for the challenges ahead.
What role will the ITBA Campus play in the life of its community and in the future of technological education?
The ITBA Campus will be much more than a facility; it will serve as a platform for growth. It is a space designed to elevate the learning experience, enhance research, and strengthen the link between the university, industry, and society.
Here, the leaders of tomorrow will be formed, projects with a global impact will be developed, and the value of our graduates will be consolidated. It will be a campus open to exchange, featuring a flexible and inspiring infrastructure, prepared for a cutting-edge and interdisciplinary academic offering. It is a place conceived to connect both internally and externally, accompanying and leading change.
When will the construction of the ITBA Campus begin and conclude?
What type of learning experience does this new campus propose?
The new campus proposes an academic experience rooted in authentic, collaborative learning connected to the challenges of today’s world. It is not merely a matter of incorporating new infrastructure, but of creating an environment that aligns with modern methodologies of teaching, research, and learning.
Flexible classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, and interdisciplinary workspaces coexist with common areas designed for interaction, experimentation, and project development. The entire building is conceived to facilitate exchange among students, faculty, and researchers, thereby strengthening an active and committed academic community.
Furthermore, the campus integrates accessibility and sustainability criteria, viewed as essential components of a comprehensive education. In this way, the university experience extends beyond the classroom, promoting a learning model that combines academic excellence, collaboration, and a profound sense of belonging.
Where exactly will the Campus be located within the Innovation Park?
The new ITBA campus will be located in the Innovation Park, in the Núñez neighborhood, a cutting-edge technological, educational, and scientific hub. The Innovation Park is designed to be an epicenter for activities related to innovation and technological development. This space fosters collaboration among entrepreneurs, students, researchers, and innovative institutions, both public and private, at a national and international level.
This space will house 4 universities, research and health centers, national and international companies, and more than 50 technology start-ups.
Its location, in a strategic area of the City of Buenos Aires, positions it as a neuralgic point for the ITBA community, promoting a fluid connection among key stakeholders and the development of a collaborative ecosystem among diverse institutions.
The ITBA Campus will be situated on two of the three lots owned by the university within the Innovation Park. The main entrances will be located on Av. Udaondo and Bavio, providing a convenient and visible entry point.
Additionally, the building will have direct access from the Park’s central pedestrian walkway, facilitating connection with the rest of the area’s facilities and creating an accessible and integrated environment for our students and the entire community, as well as for visitors.

Why is the Innovation Park a convenient location for ITBA students?
The decision to locate the ITBA Campus in the Innovation Park was supported by a comprehensive study on the origin of our students. This analysis demonstrated that the vast majority come from the City of Buenos Aires, primarily from the neighborhoods of Palermo, Belgrano, and Núñez, extending to the north of the city.
This information was key to defining a location that offered accessibility and connectivity, facilitating daily commuting and promoting greater participation in university life. The Innovation Park thus provides a strategic, secure, and easily accessible location, in alignment with the needs and habits of our student community.
What were the reasons for locating the new headquarters in the Innovation Park (PI)?
After evaluating several potential locations, we chose the Innovation Park for the exceptional opportunities it offers to integrate into a dynamic and collaborative ecosystem focused on innovation. This environment not only favors synergies with other universities and institutes dedicated to education and applied research but also provides ample room for the future growth and development of our university.
Furthermore, the Innovation Park is a member of a global network of technological and scientific hubs linked to the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). This membership connects us with innovation parks worldwide—from Europe to Asia and the Americas—facilitating knowledge exchange, cooperation on research projects, and the development of joint initiatives with leading international institutions.
The ITBA Campus in the Innovation Park will therefore be a local meeting point with a global projection: a space where science, technology, and education converge to drive the future.
The Innovation Park ensures that we will be at the heart of an expanding community, which is fundamental to continuing our mission of leading and fostering higher education and scientific research.
What will be the future of the other headquarters once the move to the Campus is complete?
As the transition to the ITBA Campus in the Innovation Park is completed, we will proceed to progressively decommission the university’s other facilities. This process will be carried out in an organized and strategic manner to ensure a smooth transition without interruptions to academic and administrative activities. Each facility will be evaluated to determine the next steps—whether repurposing, sale, or closure—in accordance with institutional needs and the best interests of the university community.
It is important to note that the operation and continuity of the university’s academic and administrative activities are guaranteed. The institution is committed to ensuring a seamless transition for all students, faculty, and staff, maintaining the high standard of educational excellence that characterizes us.
Which architecture studios carried out the project? Why were they selected?
The building, a project by the prestigious architecture studio MSGSSV with interior design by MIA Works, will be characterized by vertical integration, a greater presence of green and gathering spaces, external and internal identity, infrastructure flexibility, sustainability, and ease of maintenance. The new ITBA Campus is a strategic initiative that seeks to expand and enhance the University’s educational impact, developing talent with the capacity to transform the country’s productive, scientific, and social reality. It is a project conceived with a long-term vision, designed for future generations of students, faculty, and researchers.
The contributions received are managed under clear criteria of accountability, transparency, and traceability, and are allocated exclusively to the development of the Campus. Their management is integrated into consolidated institutional processes of planning, monitoring, and control, aligned with the highest governance standards that characterize ITBA.
Each contribution is part of a collective effort directed toward a specific educational goal: to create a campus that not only expands capabilities but also establishes a new paradigm for designing and constructing university infrastructure in Argentina, with a real, measurable, and sustainable impact over time.
Investing in the ITBA Campus means investing in quality education, applied knowledge, and a project that transcends the physical structure to become a development platform for the entire community.

Where can I find more information or speak with someone about the campaign?
You can learn more details about the Capital Campaign and contact its lead representative:
Magalí Chait, Capital Campaign Director: tmchait@itba.edu.ar
Can I become involved in promoting the campaign?
Yes. This campaign is much more than a financial objective: it is an invitation to collectively build the future of ITBA and the nation. Every individual, drawing upon their personal narrative, enthusiasm, and professional network, can contribute to broadening the campaign’s reach and impact.
Becoming involved is a means of leaving a lasting mark, inspiring others, and being an active participant in a transformation that transcends generations. The ITBA community is strengthened by those who believe, participate, and commit.
How has the issue of noise been addressed due to the proximity to Aeroparque? (the domestic airport in Buenos Aires)
We are aware that the proximity to Aeroparque could generate a significant acoustic impact on the Campus. Therefore, we have incorporated this consideration since the earliest design stages.
In collaboration with the architectural firm MSGSSV and specialized acoustic consultants, we are implementing advanced solutions to mitigate noise, thereby ensuring that all the building’s facilities offer an environment of optimal well-being and comfort for our students, faculty, researchers, and staff.
How is the situation handled during sporting events or concerts NEAR the Campus?
We understand that events at the River Plate stadium can significantly increase the flow of traffic and people in the areas near the Innovation Park, which could affect the mobility and daily routine of our community. To mitigate any inconvenience, the City Government and the Metropolitan Police implement special traffic control and security measures during these days.
As part of these measures, the implementation of a division system similar to that used in the Metrobus is planned, especially on Av. Udaondo, to separate the circulation toward the River Plate stadium and thus minimize any impact on access and mobility in the university campus area.
The Ministry of Infrastructure of the Buenos Aires government has already launched the plan to reformulate the ‘Labruna’ bridge, between the River Plate stadium and the new Innovation Park, to connect vehicular flow from the Illia highway, Lugones avenue, traffic coming from Ciudad Universitaria, and from Avenida del Libertador. The new bridge is designed to triple the circulation capacity for vehicles, but also for pedestrians and cyclists. The project consists of readapting the bridge through the incorporation of new vehicular entry and exit ramps for the avenues and a pedestrian walkway with dimensions appropriate to the new pedestrian and cyclist demand.

All these actions are designed to ensure that both access and activities within the campus proceed normally, thus minimizing any impact on the studies and mobility of our university community.
